We decided to go visiting yesterday.
During the planning stage The Pilgrim suggested a walk from Hole of Horcum to Bridestones. What a wonderful choice! The weather had been slightly wintry so there was a thin cover of snow plus hoar frost and the temperature around freezing point but no wind. It’s a bit boggy in places so probably not advisable if there’s no frost.
It’s just over 8km (about 5 miles) and the views just beautiful.
